A slipped disc in my back, GetGlue, & Reason 5...

Ahhh, the beginning of the week. Also, my first day of a new production routine I'm trying to put in order. It goes something like ; Wake up, shower, coffee, maybe some breakfast, and start writing. As of now I have a ton of tunes (something like 38) that are unfinished on my hard drive. Some remixes, some originals, some Synchronaria, Dubstep, Drum & Bass...You know all that good stuff. This routine is something I've had planned out since last week, and even something I went over with my good friend Collaborator. As I'm getting older, I need to start taking better care of myself if traveling/touring is in my future.

Sooo, as luck would have it, last Monday I was getting a glass of water and slipped a disc in my back. I have literally been laid up for the last week. Unable to move to the left or right, and according to the doctor, a pinched nerve was involved somehow. The plus side of this incident, is that I have been able to sit in a chair with my little Oxygen 8 Keyboard and my Macbook Pro running Reason 5 and finish tunes. Plus make up a slew of new ideas in a pain-killer induced frenzy...bwahahaha

So, I will be laid up for a few more days. But the routine is going well so far. A tune is finished...

Not sure what to call it yet, as there are no vocals...But I will keep you updated.

Also part of the routine, is trying as hard as I can to update this thing everyday and try to keep up with the Synchronaria website. This should get interesting...haha

Last but not least...My first review for this week is of the Social Networking site for media ; GetGlue. I got turned on to this site by a friend on Facebook. Really I just saw the site in a post and decided to visit out of pure curiosity. To my surprise I found a clean looking, easy to navigate, Social Media site that can be connected to your already up and running Twitters, Facebooks, etc...I was wondering when a site was going to come along that could directly share your taste/choices in Movies, TV Shows, and other popular outlets with friends, family, and whoever else you wish. The fine people at GetGlue are working with some of the biggest media corporations, including FOX, AMC, & HBO just to name a few. You can find more info on their company, including who else they work with, and how they came to be the company they are today on Wikipedia.

One of the coolest things about GetGlue are the Sticker Rewards. You get rewards for doing all kinds of things like; Check-ins, Likes, Dislikes, Reviews, and even limited time rewards that are given when a show is being aired, or a movie on opening weekend. They will even send you real stickers of the rewards to get after you reach a certain number.

One con, and probably the only one is; I wish there was a way, or an app that directly connected your Netflix. Something like a "Watching Now" feed, maybe even something that pops up from GetGlue that allows you to directly Review or Recommend whatever you just watched to your friends on whatever Social Networking outlets you might be connected to...Who knows, I'm just spit-ballin' here...lol...I say go check it out though, it may not be for everyone, but I enjoy it...You might too :)

Well, I'm signing off for now. I hope everyone has a happy Monday and rest of the week. :)

As always, if you're in the Orlando area, and you're looking for something fun to do on Monday nights.
Go to TORQUEVixen Bar in Dowtown Orlando!!! Jungala has been running the DnB scene in Central Florida for 12 years now!!!

Back on some blog ish...Whaaaa??!!?!

So, I set up this site over a year ago, posted once, and then kind of forgot about it. Honestly, I'm not much of a "blogger" I suppose. I don't think I've used the internet as a place to just say things. However, I did set up this site to review things that I like, and that frequent my life, and maybe others will enjoy, or share my point of views. Or, maybe people will hate what I have to say, and troll my site. Either way, it outta be a lot of fun huh? lol...

Anyhoots, I thought I would come back and say hi, and make an honest effort this time around to do something with the site. Please check back frequently for all kinds of fun, crazy, and free stuff. Have a lovely Sunday...
